Another day
Not a lot.Snow gone, paths mostly clear, so walked quite a lot with my fuzzy minder. Dropped in to have a chat with the very disabled lady. She and Max have just gelled. She gives him a treat and is rewarded with a gentle tap on her knee. I was then going down to our local store, not far. At that point he was flopped down on her floor. Relaxed.
I asked if she would like him to wait with her while I did my shop. She loved the idea. Regrettably, when I moved, Max moved..............
As my dear wife would say, he is attached to me it the hip.........

We met a lady today who had been bitten on the leg by a dog.
Naturally, she was nervous of big Max but he just laid down by her feet. How do dogs read people so well?

Another day - and a few more strolls. Lovely weather for that activity.On the last one we bumped into the lady dog trainer who was running a loose lead training session for what she called an adolescent dog. She messaged me later. She and the dog owners were evidently amazed at how well behaved Max was, just trotting along beside us. Off the lead.
About the best compliment on his behaviour/demeanour we could have had. I know it isn't unique. We do come across others. But not that many.
