OGF - I've blocked 6 different phone numbers all relating to this scam. Like you I don't have an Amazon Prime a/c.

Funny thing is Percy, before lockdown we were getting maybe half a dozen calls per week and then suddenly all the calls stopped unexpectedly until recently, and now they seem to be winding up again..... We are members of TPS by the way.

Re: another scam

I had one from netflix saying my subscription payment had been declined. There's a lot of this around. I always click on the email sender to see whether it's real. OH nearly fell for the TV licence one.

Re: another scam

The Council Tax emails could easily deceive the unwary - this is one version:

Which? Conversation 18 MAY 2020

The email uses GOV.UK branding and similar wording to government communications, as well as being disguised to appear as though it’s come from a legitimate GOV.UK email address.

Clicking the link takes you to a page that asks for your personal details – the scammers could then use these details to get access to your money.

A couple of weeks ago I had an Email supposedly from the TV Licence people asking me to pay. I knew it was a scam or mistake! Because I pay for it communally each year where I live. Needless to say. I didn't pay.
