Will you be going shopping today?

Hi

The shops are opening today.

Are you going to be rushing out for some retail therapy?

I am not, waiting to see how things are

I felt comfortable yesterday at the Sunday Market.

Outdoors, socially distancing and very well organised.

The big Plant Nursery was there, very well organised and every 3 for £6, including Clematis etc.

They are desperate for money.

Shops open = Country Park empty, that'll do for me.

Browsing the shops for something I don't need has never really been a big attraction for me, so there's chance I'll give it a miss methinks..

None essential shops - no. There's nothing I want or need and if changing rooms are closed I don't see how clothes shops are going to sell much!

I would like to get into Wilko & the garden centre though. There's always a massive queue so I don't bother.

Re: Will you be going shopping today?

The ones I want are not opening near me just yet. Most others have always been open, which I’ve been using regularly...Wilko, Home Bargains, B&M, all the supermarkets, Poundland, Pets at Home. They have been enough for my needs these past few months. To me, it will really be business as usual.

In the nearby retail park are Curry’s and Argos but ours won’t open just yet. Halfords operated from a barrier at the door, then there are the furniture shops and a charity.

I just want my library to reopen.
