Dig In

Its nearly time to Dig In, clocks go back this weekend then its eight weeks to the shortest day.
Don't worry, that is only 9408 hours.

You always have to look for the saving grace summer. Working outside, I always harp back to the winter of 2010, it went below zero early October and stayed there until January 2011, so far this year, so good, small mercies.

I miss snow though...if we have to go through winter at least give us some fluffy white stuff

I hate the dark dank autumn days and even more so the cold dark winter days.

To some extent this year will be easier for my, having been in self imposed almost total isolation since February I no longer have to venture out to shop so no more scraping the car and worrying about driving on foggy and icy roads.

Roll on spring, I am already looking at seed catalogues and planning the garden.
