Re: That dog again

We have Max five years today. I keep in touch withe rescue centre where we got him and sent a message to them this morning with a picture of chillaxed Max. So far 130 likes. He really is a very good dog and a quick learner. But I would say that............

Re: That dog again

Thank you ST.
Max has had a few health issues and he now has his own account at the pharmacy.

Convenient.......
We do that with a lot of things. But Max is regularly being monitored for his calcium level and his medication being adjusted accordingly.

Re: That dog again

An update on our handsome, hairy, hound. Today, he had surgery to remove a small growth. He is back home with the cone of shame....and not a happy boy.

Re: That dog again

I hate those hooded collars Besoeker.
I have always found the poor dog can't gauge widths properly and walks into door frames and furniture. It seems to distort their hearing and balance too, as well as have difficulty positioning the thing so they can eat or drink.

Depending on whereabout the injury is, have you considered one of the Buster collars instead?
It is just like a giant polo mint you inflate, then put round their neck.
It has no ill affects on hearing, balance, eating or drinking and I find it stresses the dog much less.

Only thing is, it does depend where the wound is as to whether they can still reach past the inflated collar or not.

They make small ones for cats as well.
