This thread could also easily fit into the film section.
I just watched the Disney film "WHITE FANG" a story by Jack London. For animal lovers it is a heart warming movie. The story of a young man, Jack, who rescues a wolf/dog mixed breed from a cruel owner and they bond into best friends.
At one point the wolf/dog saves young Jack from a huge grizzly bear.
The bear is played by Bart The Bear, who has played in numerous films including the movie "The Bear" which is also a lovely story.
Gee. I really don't know. But one thing is certain. Jack London moved from San Francisco, back in the late 1800's, to Alaska and wrote many great stories of life in the wilderness of Alaska.
