Re: Does this sound like your wife?

I think it's good that wives have hobbies like that.

They must be newlyweds, or just moved in together. I was going to try it myself, but there's a bloody great axe in the shed nearby!

Yes it's nice to see her showing an interest in such things. But, a bit tough on Adam. He's got the patience of a saint.

No! After being the domestic housewife for 20 something years and doing everything that involved our home, he know does his own laundry and makes his own lunches for work. My man went from mommy to the military to me.
He doesn’t generally clean anything but I refuse to be his personal servant.

I’ve never had a floordrobe. Chairdrobe, maybe, but would be the tops only, never undies. Urgh. Usually I fling all dirties straight into the WM when changing.

Glad it’s just me here.

Re: Does this sound like your wife?

Mr Mags thought his role in marriage was just to bring the pennies home each day . He was never taught to do a thing in the house when he was home.. I soon changed that over our 47 years,

He can now cook a good meal, he will do the ironing except for some of my more difficult tops, he makes the bed each morning ..... so in all he has turned from a lazy lout to being a brilliant help around the house.

So that it’s not one sided, I do all the decorating and gardening now as he is not in the best of health.

As for this Adam in this thread, what a lazy, good for nothing layabout he is.
