A cold zero degrees here in the South West, all the stationary cars have frosted windows. I haven’t been out yet so no idea what it’s like underfoot but it’s the kind of morning I like, crispy air, clear blue sky and winter sunshine.
It sleeted yesterday afternoon, then froze, then there was a small amount of snow on top, just for good measure.
This morning's dog walk was treacherous underfoot with snow covering the icy patches.
They put a new super duper surface on the ground just outside the nature reserve building, it doesn't drain and relies on the water running off.....well, it didn't run off, it didn't have time before it froze. Then the snow on top....we all looked like Bambi on ice this morning trying to keep our balance
Below zero this morning when I walked - a challenge to stay upright on the icy pathways. It is now much warmer at +2C.
The little snow we had still remains.
I hate talking about the weather but..... although, it was freezing cold and there was some snow on the ground, l decided to drive to my local town centre.
It was beautiful out there in the sun and the bright blue sky. A real feel good day!
