We're British.

It's a unique afflication and one we have learned to live with.

We thought, for a while that joining the EU was the cure.

Turns out it was an irritant and only inflamed our condition.

Seems that our unique afflication is, in fact, our raison d'etre and cannot be tamed, corralled, enslaved or subjagated........It knows no boundaries and needs the wide open spaces , boundless skies and endless oceans for us to be at peace with ourselves.

We Brits need a big Stage on which to perform.....Europe just doesn't cut it for us!

I h ate to be the one to inform you about this. Your time of great solo parts on stage is over. Your empire is gone. Only smal supporting acts for you on the large, world stage.
Didn't your mother tell you, when you were not chosen for the lead in school stage show, that supporting acts are just as important as the main act? Dr

So we can look forward to more court cases ....
Why? He has done as parliament instructed him to do. The EU will only treat that letter as from the sovereign of the UK. After all, boris is only the executive of the HoC.
The second letter will be treated for what it is. A letter worthy of a rebellious adolescent student prankster, but not of the pm of a proud nation like the UK.

Hi

Solash, we have always been an island, it is part of our physche.

We are fiercely Independent, we do not like being told what to do.

We do not like Federalism, it is the direction of travel of the EU we do not like.

We are better off out of the EU, better for us, and also better for the EU.

Retaining Free Trade, close cooperation with security, data, joint enterprises, yes, it is in both our best interests.

Federalisation is not.

We have an internal problem, a huge amount of distrust in both the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition.

We have to sort this out.

Once we have done, trade will flow, minimal disruption to our Economy and that of the EU.

We do have to leave however, we simply cannot continue like this.

News from Brussels from a foreign correspondent...

EU27 ambassadors met for 15 mins this morning to formally send the Brexit deal onto the EU Parliament for ratification before Oct 31. The UK’s extension request wasn’t discussed and a decision on whether to accept it won’t be taken before the Commons 2nd reading vote on Tuesday.

Yes, I have noticed the problems british have with federalisation. Scotch and welsh want separate states, even a tiny slice as NI wants separation. But the blood is strongest in ireland it seems.

A second vote is not democratic is it?
He hasn't had the first yet??
