Re: Post your daily exercise routine

Had a relatively easy day today. I did 600 crunches (resting a bit after Monday!) and 2½ hours of other work, but socialised a bit more than usual, lol. I took my earbuds out and turned off my music as some people wanted to chat, and it was a nice change from being in my own little world.

Back to the gym again on Friday, and it's lovely to get there three times a week instead of two!

"Only" 600 crunches, Tachyon. My, oh how you're slacking! lol Seriously, nothing wrong with that bud, you must have a midriff like an egg box by now!
Three times a week at the gym is about right too

Hello Kate, welcome to the exercise part of the forum....
How far do you run at each session?

Keep up the good work.
I hope you have a good response to your new treatment. Suppressing the immune system has been the battle my daughter has been waging for years. It was an monoclonal antibody (tociluzimab) that finally did the trick for her. Apparently the latest treatments for autoimmune arthritis have had extremely good results. are outstanding.

Re: Post your daily exercise routine

Floydy, I really appreciate the time you take to write out your workouts. It gets me thinking about strength and muscle groups, especially when I am doing my indoor routines. What I like best is that you show many of us what we are capable of doing across a wide range of sports. Great job as always.

Next week, I am starting a fitness competition with a friend. The winner will be the one who achieves the greatest percentage of our individual weight and BMI goals (done with calipers) by January 1st.

The only thing we can't seem to figure out is what the "loser" should give to or do for the winner. Hmmmm.

Re: Post your daily exercise routine

After completing a 'It'll do' sort of a five mile run this morning, I feel refreshed enough to take my place in society... At least, my little bit of it.........'Groundhog Day'...

I must mention the extra large setting moon that oversaw most of the action......Extraordinary!...

It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring....

The radar is giving me no real hope for today .

Tachyon, I don't doubt for a moment that you won't be back running in no time. You are already making incredible progress.

Great job getting that run in and being a chipper, functional member of society, OGF. I think I will do the opposite - stay in and clean the oven and the fridge. It's either that or be a real risk taker and go stir the pot on the political threads. My gosh, I am nothing if not exciting!

Re: Post your daily exercise routine

Well, I now declare my ankle recovered, so off on my walk this morning...about 3½ miles I believe.
Compared with some of you high fliers it's nothing!
But I felt good afterwards, even cleaned the french windows now they gleam!!

I'm in awe of the poster who swims every day, my goodness what a star!

Re: Post your daily exercise routine

I'm very happy this week, having managed to fit 9 hours of the gym into my week whereas normally I am struggling to do half that because of commitments. I hope I can do the same next week.
