I like earrings as long as they are not too big, so usually wear studs of different sorts. My largest earrings are the Christmas trees I have for the festive season. They are about 2" long.

I had my ears pierced by a jeweller when I was 17 and fainted when they bled a lot still commented on by the family...

I no longer where earings or any jewellery other than a silver chain or leather band with something on it around my neck.

There is no one to please but myself and I no longer feel the need to wear jewellery.

One has to be careful when wearing large heavy earrings as they can stretch, or even tear the earlobes. My sister-in-law had her earlobes stretched in this way and one was torn. She had to have surgery to repair them, not something one would wish to have in your 80s, and not in the best of health like her.

I had my ears pierced when l was 19. I have rarely worn earrings as they make my ears hot and red.
Even gold earrings have the same affect.

I had my ears pierced when I was 18. Wore all sorts of different earrings for years. Then came the change, I sweated up so much I got infections in them, removed them, never wore any again & my holes have sealed up now. I still have some gold & silver pairs but they are in a box in my jewelry case.

I have pieced ears clip ns are excruciating.
I like to see little girls with earrings as they do in many countries .
