I've yet to have a phone whose battery died due to age/usage. That's probably because I switch things round a lot.

I can relate to that, but what if you need to make a phone call, what would you use, a landline?

I've got a landline - it came with my broadband but every month I've used less than £1 in calls.

I use my landline for all my calls. I only have a mobile phone if I have an issue when I take my car out. I hasten to add I would never actually use it when I was actually driving.

Do you get a special deal for your landline? Free weekend calls etc.?

All my UK calls to other landlines are free.

I charge mine, when I remember, usually the day before I'm going somewhere & might need it. It's a bit low now, but I'll charge it before I go out. Had an unexpected text from a friend in South Africa, as my phone is a PAYT, thought this is gonna cost me. Well three text messages to her cost me just over £2, I didn't think that was bad.

Quite often, if it gets to 55% then I charge it up.

I charge mine overnight, I have a charger in my car and I even have a portable charger which I carry with me.
