They certainly don't...but they don't understand that...whether a father is a drunk or not...the children still need the love of the father.
No matter how much a father embarrassing his child....that child still loves them...it must be so confusing for the children as well.
Unfortunately some fathers/mothers are selfish in many different ways..Pauls was the booze...I guess fame at a young age isn't a good thing...I really don't know..
