Nothing special to be sure.

I am just uncomfortable about anyone involved in Law Enforcement sitting on a Jury.

Criminals are excluded, so should those involved in prosecutions.

I did it about 45 years ago and haven't been asked since. I didn't like having to sit in judgement on somebody.

No Sweetie darlin' - capital punishment was abolished in about 1961 - the infamous Lord Denning (he wrote the 'Denning report' on the Profumo affair) was I think the last judge to sentence someone to hang.

Thinking further, it was in the early 1980s, so it wasn't as long ago as I said. Probably more like 37 years ago.
