I've always wondered why we don't eat the garden varieties of slugs and snails, you know aren't they supposed to be delicacy? Imagine eating a slug, licking the slime off before popping it seductively in your mouth - slime dangling .... and all chewy and squashy, a real good mouthful
I remember years ago getting up in the morning, going into the lounge and the sun was shining on the dark green carpet, highlighting slug slime around the room.
Now, don't laugh, I phoned in work to say I was having the day off to wash the carpet and source the slug
Well, did I find the slug? Nope. And, never saw any more slime
