Love her or hate her - if Maggie were still in charge we would have been out of eurofilth within 6 months of the first referendum!

Brexit keeps politicians in business, keeps the EU afloat, makes sure Nigel Farage stays in work and it's a great way of making us pay more tax

Why can't you post on Brexit thread, don't you get that channel in your neck of the woods or does it just bore you to tears like it does me?
As l have only been back in uk for 4yrs Floydy after being absent
for almost 40 yrs it is difficult for me to understand your sense of
disillusionment with things here, as l have only had to put up with
4yrs of this crap, but l am rapidly coming to realise that uk is in
deep shyte with with the lunatics in charge of the ship, and it seems
we, as you say, are stuck in the middle of a whirlpool for ever?
All l can do, if given the chance, is vote for change! BIG change if
possible?
An early election seems to be the only way to do this to me?
Efforts now are being directed at denying us the chance of change
by pushing for an extension followed by a referendum, this is being
encouraged by eu, and it follows it wont be good for uk!

The only party resenting a complete change at the momenf is
the Brexit party Muddy, we are stuck with them for good or bad?
One certainty with them is, they WILL, if we give them a decent
majority? End all this lunacy and get us OUT !!
Once that is done all our other problems can be tackled and we
will have more input into how WE want things to go in a brand new
administration with little or no old etonian ties etc?
Wishful thinking maybe?
What alternatives??

We MUST leave the EU as fast as humanly possible.

Undemocratic Remainers should not be permitted to subvert democracy any more than government.

If you want to see a real demonstration and a real view of anger just wait and see what happens if BrExit is denied.

The chaos that will ensue will be far worse than the pathetic drivel of Project Fear spouted by Remainers. Cities will be trashed, shops will burn, anyone foolish enough to publicly pronounce themselves as Remainers will likely become targets of assaults and so on.

All this undemocratic nonsense must be stopped once and for all. We are either a democratic country or we are not. If you seriously want to wrest our democracy from us in favour of rule by dictatorship of a bunch of unelected unaccountable EU bureaucratic megalomaniacs then best get yourselves prepared for a fight imho. That's a declaration of war by any other name and citizens imho have every right to stand up and defend themselves and their country from all usurpers and tyrants.

What Remainers must get into their heads is that they actually HAD a vote in the first place in the form of the referendum.

That ability to vote is sovereign and sacred ground. You WILL lose that privilege if we stay in the EU. You won't be able to vote for any UK political party, your vote will effectively be gone forever.

No Deal is the only way we actually get to leave.

We must get it done

Exactly Realist! everything is being manipulated by the faceless
beneficiaries of the status quo, using fair means but mostly foul to
reverse democracy to their own advantage!
If they win this battle then our lives will be owned by them!

I do not think so.

His Conservative opponent, Margaret Thatcher, called the referendum “a device of dictators and demagogues” that would be dangerous to minorities and destructive of parliamentary sovereignty.

Not true, as Thatcher would never have held a referendum, she believed they were an 'instrument of tyrannies', according to her long-time Private Secretary, Charles Powell. "She fought hard for specific British advantages, where necessary to opt out of some of the EU arrangements, but she never in her time as prime minister contemplated or spoke about leaving the European Union."
She was PM for over 11 years and held a massive majority, so could have taken us out of the EU. She didn't. That might suggest to an intelligent person that she was a Remainer.
