Just out of interest, I googled Bon Marche, and from what it seems here, they are still in business.
How odd.

Ah, if it is so very recent, that probly explains why it doesn't mention anything on their mail order sites yet.
Thank you Mags.

I buy all my clothes from there and am gutted. I hope the reports are true that they hope to continue trading somehow.

Will not buy anything online till we hear more, but will try to get to my nearest one to get some tops for Christmas. The poor staff must be worried sick no time is good to lose a job but this time of year it’s tragic. Let’s hope it get’s sorted.

Re: Bonmarche: High Street retailer collapses into administration

Our nearest one is inside the Co-op, I went off it as I like tops that cover my bum and I don't like synthetic fabric, especially for trews.
They seem to be a bit expensive too, for the type of clothes on offer.
I shall be sad to see them go but, I think in the case of women's clothing the shops don't ask women what they want, just try to sell us what they think we should wear. Also they don't stock co-ordinated items.
I have seen lots of lovely autumn coloured tops in shops this year, no trousers to go with them. Unless you want some that come halfway up your calf a la Theresa May.
Yuk!

Black or navy trousers everywhere!

Perhaps it's just me!?

Hi

I have not been into the Town Centre for a long time, the parking charges are just stupid.

It takes ages to get into town driving, only one lane for cars but empty bus and cycle lanes.

You have to be very fit to cycle into the town centre, it is very hilly.
