Then we have the royal eco hypocrites .

A pretty woman like Meghan doesn’t need to spend all this on a frock to look good.

Some of the women in that article obviously don't own mirrors!

Awesome Muddy, I had no idea how much impact the fashion industry had on the world. I suppose it's only natural when you think about it.... I wonder how many of those young people who were demonstrating yesterday were major contributors to the industry...

Personally I don't think I can be blamed, I'm wearing shorts and polo shirts that are over ten years old.......

While I agree we make and throw away too much I find some great finds in charity shops and car boot sales. Fast fashion probably cost £5 I buy for less than 50p and remake into other designs. It's the throwing away I see as the problem. So many of these things are hardly used !

I always take stuff to charity shops if its in good condition good it’s such a relief to have a minimum amount of clutter in the wardrobe .

Most of my stuff that I keep is old too.

I am trying to keep to the axioms of William Morris .

“Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.”

Applies to clothes too.
