Yes! I do have bats and can see them diving for the insects right around sunset. It's a spectacular thing to watch. Right now, there are also at least three green tree frogs on the windows who have been snacking all evening.

It must be an individual's personal body scent..... which varies with age, sex, state of health, what they eat, what they drink, hormones, blood chemistry, and probably several other things as well.

I mentioned earlier that I've become tastier to mozzies since I passed 50.

I would always get one or two but Mrs Longdogs would be covered in them. I think she also had an allergic reaction once.

In the summer I use those plug in mosquito killer things which really do work. A mozzie only has to be in the room for a few minutes before it drops.
