Not just the dogs but we too do very little particularly in the afternoons, we just get as many fans going as we own and sit in the north facing lounge and read or maybe watch a film...

I was just saying to my brother and to neighbours that Holly is being quite patient. I open up my French door as soon as we have had our early morning walk, and she just stays outside lying on the concrete slab or the shingle. In between lying over the threshold, or barking at someone/thing. I rush her out once or twice in the day for a quick wee, then bring her back in.

She too prefers the bathroom floor (tiled) but again, saying to bro, as I have filled boxed on one side if I want the loo I have to step over or round her, as she is in the doorway. In the way.

Bro says he and his missus haven't moved from the flat since I saw them on Friday.

Kodi is quite miserable, he's mooching around looking fed up. He's due his appointment at the furdressers, unfortunately it's two weeks away. He is quite good at finding the cooler spots like near the fan and under the trees in my garden.

Just taken her to the allotment, so she could walk on grassy paths. She did plenty of wees so hopefully should be content till the sun goes down and we will go out again. I should be able to have my supper in peace, knowing she’s comfortable for awhile.

It looks as though this extreme heatwave is about to break. Back to temperatures about right for late August. Can't say i'm sorry.

Poor ol Teazle, she doesn't like this hot weather. She is always looking for the coolest spot in the house, even in the kitchen. water bowl close to hand oops mean paw
