That was my thinking - so not taking it seriously - yet

I can't see them living for long when they get there. One thing's for sure, their names will go down in history.

Baloney is right, but I’m inclined to believe the ‘Never come back’ bit, that's a sure thing, but if they want to do it voluntarily so be it.

Re: Anyone for Mars ?

They have at least 10 years of training for it yet. Then the
organisers have to raise £6bn for the excursion. They all know
they are not coming back but if they want to do it let them.
I couldn't as I have always felt fixed to the Earth. Don't think
this lot will be having children as there will be the radiation
to put up with. So they might have to find how to solve that
once they are there. Plus its going to be filmed so it will be like
Big Brother. Oh no not another one

Christ Big Brother in a space ship, that's all we need, I hope I'm well dead before that comes on Ch4's daytime TV.

Not for me I prefer Crunchies and Smarties (especially the orange ones) .
However I have a little list of people I would like to go on this one way trip.

They were my thoughts too Graham.
We ought to a post entitled - "Who would we most like to send to Mars".

I think I would bundle off some of the politicians for a start!

Re: Anyone for Mars ?

At least to be heading for Mars you would know your destination point, the rest of us are floating round on a giant piece of rock, heading for the "Galaxy".
