Space Station Diva

Hearing that a certain opera star is paying £35 million (?) to go for a jolly to the Space Station made me wonder if we should make wasting money illegal.
I know there will be folk who say she should spend her hard-earned money on whatever she likes, but, it seems obscene to me.
Perhaps there should be special recognition for philanthropists to try to make the ultra-rich aware of the good they could do with money that's burning holes in their pockets.

I think all these folks with money to burn while there are still starving millions in this world, should club together and put a couple of billion into a kitty, built their own space ship, get in it and launch their useless carcasses into eternity, they'd be no loss to the rest of us.
