Consider the Lily!

How amazing the the beautiful pristine Water Lily rises up out of the mire and murky water, without a mark on the gorgeous pink and white flowers and large green leaves.

They must have a special coating on them to keep dirt away.

If we fell into the pond we would come out covered in muck.

Water lilies are interesting plants aren't they. It always amazes me as one flower closes, another one opens.

Yes Longdogs they are amazing.

A pond full of Water Lillies is so much better than any painting.

Water lilies are incredible flowers. They can look like floating daffodils or clematis. So when are you going to paint some for us.

The first time your thread has disappointed me Azure.
I was expecting to see a lovely painting of water lilies

Hi and Good mornin' Azure...this is such a beautiful painting of a Water Lily and reminds me of the ones I had in my Koi pond many, many years ago...
