Well the thread has spurred me on to finally get a card licence.

I didn't pass my test until I was 28 so never bothered as they introduced the photo cards a couple of years later and you had to pay for the change.

But I looked at the site yesterday and they can use an existing digital passport photo. Being able to do it all online without having to go to one of those photo booths made it a lot easier.

Just a quick pointer, banks/building socs.will accept driving card licence as proof of identity in the UK as well as passports. Not bus passes as they are not issued by the government
