Strange neighbours

My neighbour opposite is a nerd who tends to have some strange hobbies. This is his converted Reliant. How can he be seen dead in a contraption like this?

Anyone else have neighbours who get up to bizarre things?

Re: Strange neighbours

Looks a bit top heavy to me. The old Reliant was always prone to toppling over even without that extra weight.

I was going to say similar.
I wouldn't want to go out in it if there was a gale blowing.

Re: Strange neighbours

A person in one of the houses in a close nearby, kept a red vintage tractor in his narrow driveway. I haven't seen it for a week or two. I wonder if the neighbours complained as it was a bit of an eyesore.

Re: Strange neighbours

I don't know what's inside it, but he keeps replacing the back of it with different types of canopies. It's been a van, a "bus", even a sandpit for their kids to play in.
I once had an old fridge freezer on my front garden awaiting the council to take it away for me. The next morning it was on his truck outside his house along with various other scrap metal appliances. He said it was for a "fancy dress rally" and he and his family got dressed up in scruffy clothing. He disposed of the fridge freezer for me, so I was happy with that.

Thing is, the guy is pleasant enough but is a bit of a geek. He's a college lecturer who works about one afternoon and earns a fortune. Type of guy who has academical qualifications to kingdom come but can't change a light bulb.
Takes all sorts!

I thought you lived on a farm, Tara? They wouldn't bat an eyelid would they?

Re: Strange neighbours

We've got Australian neighbours that spend a lot of time barbying, drinking lager from cans, smoking herbal cigarette and laughing.
