I spent quite a bit of my teenage years in pubs and clubs ...there used to be a club in Norwich called The Tudor Hall and also there was Samsons nightclub but we never used to go there as it was considered to be for teenyboppers which we wernt lol....Had some good times getting merry /drunk how did we ever survive those years I shall never know lol

When I was young our local youth clubs had discos and lots of other things to do. This led to me winning a local beauty contest, which led to me becoming a model and a bunny girl for charity events. I only got back to dancing when I was 17, when I became a gogo dancer for a few Manchester Cabaret Clubs... but it was only at weekend because I was at school, or later work, for the rest of the week.

They were very happy years for me, dancing, weekends away, a few jars, a great job, a lovely girl, what else could a young man ask for? I’m not sure if I was a teddy boy or a mod, sort of halfway between, I didn’t like the teddy boys long jackets and waistcoats.
