You (UK) don't count corona deaths outside hospital in the statistics. After the pandamic is over you can count the total number of deaths from outside and inside the hospitals. Ad to that the number of those admitted to hospital care and recovered. Those are the ones that got infected and couldn't cope with the virus by their own immune system. If the protective measures hadn't ensured that the medical system could cope, those would have died too. The death toll would be even higher.

Yes, our figures are being manipulated to show a lower number of deaths from the virus than are actually happening.

Many ,many more are dying in care homes and are not being tested.

There is no magic bullet to this.

You can protect yourself by being sensible, but we will all die.

Sorry swim, darwin didn't use the term fittest in term of strong, but as the ones best able to adept to changing (environmental) conditions.

Any disease will kill off those individuals with the lowest health conditions. That can be the wealthy obese with heart problems and diabetes as well as the undernourished poor living in unhealthy conditions.
