That's the best they can do to help prevent the spread of the disease, lock people up in a metal box in a carpark ?
Perhaps the alternative at the end of the day would be preferable?
A wooden box in your very own plot of land!

Goodness. A bit grim, but necessary. I would hope there is a light inside and some place to sit. Since I'm a tad claustrophobic I'd hope there is a window that I could open. If there was an outside lock, I'd never go into that shipping container.

What's the problem? There have been many excellent homes and developments been made from shipping containers! It's a brilliant way of using them. Even Kevin McCloud's favourite Grand Designs of the Year was made from converted shipping containers. Properly insulated and kitted out they're no worse than any sectional building. Let's face it just about every hospital has "temporary" sectional buildings on site.

It's a ruse to get a load of sick people into a shipping container and

ship it!

Exactly. I wonder what would happen if the virus really spread throughout Britain? We have China building a new hospital in a week, whereas here we just stick people on a pallet.
