Then, when someone makes a claim, as Bread does regarding Erasmus, you can provide a counterpoint.

The problem with your insistence on others 'providing a link' is that because of your liberal bias and ideoliogical intransigence you will too easily dismiss the evidence, in the way Solly does.

Educate yourself then join the debate properly.........That's my advice.
You are completely incorrect. I hardly ever ask for links. You are confusing me with someone else. That happens often with you! I was interested in the source of the m's value but it seems to be a fictional figure. Not unusual here either!

No, the PhD students I was talking about come here in order to obtain a PhD, highly regarded world-wide, to further their own career. They then return to their own countries.
Of course, they have paid handsomely, or their governments have, for the privilege.

This may be a very good ploy by Boris, it may not.

It is wait and see time.

When I said best research brains I was thinking about research fellowships.

difficult not to the number of times he has repeated them?
However, l accept those risks as l believe the rewards far outweigh
the risks??

Remainers need to realise that if the EU screws the 27 member states trade with the UK, there will be hell to pay.

Money talks ... and if their business goes elsewhere then they will really suffer.

Your goods, i.e. their business, can't go elsewhere because the added transport costs would make them non competitive. So you better pray the UK gets a trade deal with the EU. You need the EU harder than the EU needs you. Hard for you to accept, but there it is.
