The wind is howling and the rain is falling heavily, a rough night indeed, as they used to say before plastic, "I wouldn't put a milk bottle out on a night like this".
The wind has died down and the rain has stopped, I hope that's the end of this bad weather spell.
My sympathies are with all those who have suffered flooding on these Isles.
