Re: Holiday plans

I've got one coming up in June and September, I'm not expecting to be going. Luckily I have only paid deposits and none in full yet.

I had break away planned to Skegness Butlins last weekend but we didn't go. I'm glad I didn't, there would have been hundreds of people there from all over the country.

Re: Holiday plans

We have two weeks booked in an apartment in Devon in July.

It's looking very much like we will be cancelling it unless a miracle happens. No way would be take the risk with this virus still around. Not only we may catch it but we would be more likely to pass it on to other members of the public too.

I think you need to use your common sense and consider other members of the public as well as yourself.

Re: Holiday plans

... loose plans to visit Portugal in May or June ... that's ruled out now.

... got my niece's wedding in Sweden in August, that's looking unlikely too.

Re: Holiday plans

We were due to cruise round the Baltic with P&O in May, but we have just heard that all of the P&O's fleet have been recalled and are returning home to port cutting holidays short and not sailing again until at least April 11th when it will be reassessed.

A further holiday to Guernsey in August is looking dubious also.....

Re: Holiday plans

Menorca booked and paid for in June. Probably not going. More concerned about visiting family in New Zealand next January. Who knows?
