Re: Storm Dennis.

I'm surprised really. Dennis wasn't such a menace for us here although I do feel for those that have been flooded out.

Re: Storm Dennis.

Half the garden is water logged but luckily not near the house. I'm amazed the trees survived I was up half the night from the noise.

Re: Storm Dennis.

Weird isn't it - I have had two full days of howling gales, dancing wheelie bins, torrential rain and trees bent almost double - but - have just spoken to a friend who lives less then 10 miles away to the SE of me and all they have had is rain!

Re: Storm Dennis.

It was rough here last night, but the day has been rain with hardly any wind. The wind has picked up now, but the rain has stopped. Weird weather!

Re: Storm Dennis.

The nasty stuff must have gone around me .. I went out for a bracing walk in the wind, got soaked through but it was worth it to feed the ducks.

Re: Storm Dennis.

The wind was supposed to have died down by now, but it is still pretty strong out there at the mo, spitting with rain again too.

Said on tonights news there were over 600 flood warnings issued!

Re: Storm Dennis.

I blame the Folks who had Water Meters fitted, so much water has been saved, its falling as rain!!!
Just wait for the Electrical Storms due to all those Smart Meters.
