Re: No Deal back on the Table.
Has the EU woken up yet to the fact that we have left them?
I'm afraid the EU will have to get used to the fact pretty sharpish that we have left their arena and once again a sovereign nation in charge of our own destiny.
We will certainly not allow the EU to dictate rules and regulations that we will have to obey in alignment with the way they run their own. How dare they even suggest this when they don't expect the same from any other country outside of the EU doing trade with them.
They are just making it more obvious by the day that they are really scared of the UK being seen to be more competitive and successful by leaving the arena. They seem so desperate to stop this happening regardless of the cost to any one of the member states if it turns out to be a case of us walking away without a deal. (Australia deal).
Although they have lorded it over us for the past three and half years with the help of our own fifth column within, it is surely time to act like grown ups, and realise that after our General Election result for Boris, they are now dealing with a country that although 27 to 1, is now in the enviable position of being fully capable of standing up for ourselves (they should have learned that lesson from history) .
Barnier, in particular, seems obsessed with continuing to think the EU can order the UK about with Trade deals as he did with May and the Withdrawal Agreement.
The sooner he and his cohorts realise that we will not allow them, to push us around ever again, the sooner we can get on with sensible trade talks.
Boris has the wind in his sails and the voters are watching his every move. He knows what he will suffer if he was to give way on the ECJ, Free movement, alignment with EU rules and our Fishing waters. It's about time the EU also realised that too. Far easier for him to face them than us!!
Go Boris!
