Jonathan Ross decides to leave BBC

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8445628.stm

Good news for TV Licence payers

He says it's his own choice but I do wonder if it's because he had his reins tightened by the BBC over the Andrew Sachs episode

More likely that he wants to do his own thing. He must feel constrained by the censoring procedures now.

Can't say i shall be sorry to see him go.

I used to watch his chat show, because he had some good people on it, but usually ended up switching it off, because he wouldn't let them get a word in edgeways. He always reminds me of an older man trying very hard to be a youngster again - and failing!

Bye-bye Jonathan, I won't be missing you!

Re: Jonathan Ross decides to leave BBC

I LOL'd at the BBC headline for the story: So long and thanks for the cash - Ross to leave BBC

Well he certainly got enough out of us license payers! Personally I don't think he's worth it - the Beeb could get 100 new talent in for the same money and probably twice as good!

Re: Jonathan Ross decides to leave BBC

I think maybe they would have renewed his contract but he would have had to of taken a big cut in his wages (even though he said it wasn't to do with money).

I'm not really a fan of his either, he can be very rude to people sometimes. I always remember when he had Stephen Fry on their as a guest and when he was interviewing him he called him 'Fatty', how rude
