What a mess! So glad you've finally got it sorted Nom, although such drastic means are very unfortunate.However, you've come through the worst now and must be relieved to be back in your own home again. Please look after yourself better now and don't delay asking for help if you're worried. Well done you - you're a survivor! x

Nom, sorry to hear you have had to go through this operation twice
The healing process will take a time but you will get there, patience is needed.I did wonder if this might happen as my next door neighbour had the same operation last July. I didn't mention it before as I wouldn't have wanted worrying you at the time.
My neighbour is fine with walking now, it's a case of adjusting your balance again and that will come in time for you. It is important though that you take the advice of your medical team while you are going through the healing process.
Another thing to add, my neighbour is going abroad on holiday this month ...... so that is proof it WILL get better
