Quiz...The Coughing Major...Monday 13th April On ITV At 9pm
A mini series, Quiz will start on ITV, on Monday 13 April at 9PM and will run for three consecutive nights..It is based on Major Charles Ingram’s appearance on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, where he won a million pounds. He denies that he was helped by his wife who was in the audience.

But the cheque was taken from him as he left the studio as suspicions began to surface.
A court ruled he had answered the questions through help from fellow contestant Tecwen Whittock. Whittock, a college lecturer from Cardiff, was waiting in the "fastest finger first" group when the controversy erupted.
It was suggested Whittock had been coughing loudly to indicate the right answer, and blew his nose loudly when the major was about to give a wrong answer.

From an article in a newspaper....It emerged in 2016 that Ingram paid only £1,240 of the £25,000 fine he was given in 2003 — despite his court case costing the taxpayer more than £8million.
Magistrates later cut his fine to £5,000. Diana had her fine quashed on appeal.

Drama on ITV at 9.00pm - Mon,Tues & Weds.Did anybody watch it?
True story about the contestant who cheated on 'Who wants to be a millionaire' & won a million.
He got found out of course.
I really enjoyed it & look forward to the next 2 episodes.
