Tenuous Links
Have been trying to come up with a new game for people to play. Let's see if this has any legs.Tenuous Links
In this game one person posts a word that is at least 5 characters long.
The next person must form their own word using at least 3 of the letters in the previous word. They must then state what the tenuous link is between the 2 words.
For example:
I start with
SOCKET
Next person takes the E, C and T and comes up with
ELECTRICITY
(You find electricity in a plug socket)
next person takes the T, R and I and comes up with
TRAIN
(Some trains run on electricity).
Of course one anticipates that the words might become far more "interesting" and that the links might become far more tenuous
