I am a Lancashire Lass.Born Winton,went to Shropshire when Dad was in army then back to Lancashire.Now here is the strange thing.I have lived in Worsley,Walkden & Westhoughton(whilst in Shropshire we were in Wellington).For some reason my life seems to have been ruled by the letter W. I was not aware of this until recently when I was working on the family tree.My ancestors came from Wick in Caithness & Wales.

Grew up in Buckinghamshire, moved to South Wales age 22, then moved to North yorkshire in 2006, then Lincolnshire in 2008 only for a year then back to North Yorkshire for another year. Then to west wales for 2yrs then to Coventry for 18 months and finally back to New Quay, West Wales in September 2012 and here I am still

Born in Brixton, London and lived there until I was nearly eleven. Then moved up North to Nottingham and then moved on to Yorkshire/Derbyshire border with parents. Since being adult I have lived in South Africa and then Canada (emigrated). I now live in North Derbyshire and will most likely remain here.

Originally from east end Lunnen - am a 'true' cockney (born within the sound of Bow bells), but folks upped sticks and moved to Brighton when I was a nipper. Apart from 18 months in a job in west Yorkshire, and another year at a residential college in the midlands have lived and worked in and around the Brighton area for the past 60 years. Despite moviong away from Lunnen when I was very young, have not 'lost' my cockney accent.
