So sad to hear of Jackie Collins passing. Managed to keep her illness quiet from everyone but her children, that's amazing in Hollywood.
Never read her books, but read an article about her just this week seemed so full of life.

That's come as a surprise as I too saw her very recently on TV, must have been The One Show, and she looked well.

I'm fairly sure I saw her on Loose Women at lunchtime last week. She looked fine - amazing what makeup can do.

What a shock, although she fought the disease very well - refusing to change her life and continued as normal until the end.

She was a talentless pulp fiction writer, no doubt with ‘ghost writers’ and some good editors, writing smutty crap for the masses, and amassing a fortune in the process helped by the fact that her sister was a good looking and talented actress.
Having said that, I take no joy from her passing, she obviously gave a lot of people a lot of pleasure…..but a great writer she was not.
