Re: Lovely people
I'm not religious or particularly spiritual but I do believe in Karma for some reason. It has it's own kind of logic that appeals to me. I believe in kindness and I try to help people whenever I can. I think the important thing is that you never expect anything in return. You just do it because you simply think it is the right thing to do. It makes you feel good and most of all totally human. But doing ill to people or living ones life as a total narcissist eventually comes back on you in some way. Even if it's not until you die and nobody grieves for you or people are actually glad you are gone. That is the final penalty regardless of how powerful, selfish, brutal or evil you were alive. For example look at Audrey Hepburn. She was not just insanely beautiful, she was kind and generous and classy and gracious always. She treated everybody well and had impeccable manners. She was a philanthropist and worked hard for others and she was loved by everybody. She died 26 years ago she is still mourned greatly. Recently two of our worst murderers died in prison. They "specialised" in killing young, happy people that had their whole lives in front of them. Their deaths were celebrated with leads like "Good riddance" and "It's about time" etc. THere's lots of lovely, kind people around. The volunteers that are trying to save Sydney right now are just one example. They need to be celebrated.Re: Lovely people
