The Monaco gp

Nice to see Ferrari on pole although some doubts over le clercs gearbox after he hit the barrier which brought out the red flag, Ferrari have said it’s ok but who knows, should be an interesting race…

Re: The Monaco gp

Shame about De Clerks penalty in qualifying?
Hamilton was a big let down ?
Norris was driver of the day for me, but the "race" itself was very
disappointing imo as most of the drivers seemed to be just keeping
their distance from each other and weren't really racing and l don't
think l saw one genuine overtaking move in the race ??

Re: The Monaco gp

Disasterous day for Mercedes. Monaco doesn't suit the big cars, just a procession today.

Re: The Monaco gp

Perez was driver of the day for me, having broke the track record several times, unfortunately he was unable to keep it until the end once Hamilton spit his dummy out and went in the pit for a late tyre change.....

Re: The Monaco gp

Ferrari should have changed the gearbox and taken a 5 place penalty, bottas had bad luck again, Hamilton changed tyres late on to get a point for fastest lap, it could make a difference later in the season, I’ve a few drivers of the day , Norris, saintz and vettel…

Never been a fan of Monaco, unless it rains or something happens, nigh on impossible to overtake, but as an event, it’s spectacular

Monaco used to be an exciting race to watch ?
Before the advent of aerodynamic wings etc !
Then it was possible to pass , and pass they did, l remember
Graham Hill was usually very good there ?
Strangely, ERS did not seem to help the drivers to pass as l expected
it to?
It was most disappointing that no driver even attempted to
to approach the car in front to challenge for the place ?

Hi

Boring Race, but great fun to see the championship stirred up with Max winning.

A great battle ahead with Mercedes determined to up their game.

Perez did his best to overcome Norris, but even he found it would have been suicide to attempt the pass. Hence my decision to make him driver of the day....I think he has balls!

Yes I agree foxy, once he gets to grip with the red bull he could really challenge max….if he’s allowed to do so

A good decision to give him a seat with red bull Primus...
Felt sorry for Bottas though, I don't like to see drivers go out on technical issues.
