Re: Good Morning Monday

Good morning - Sunny at the moment but like everywhere else in the land, the wild weather is coming later.

Finished setting up our new TV (I think). So many variables and picture controls. The home theatre system is still giving a bit of grief though.

Good morning everybody.

I've managed to finish off the bits in the garden that I wanted to before today's forecast rain hits again, whoopee!

Have an enjoyable day.

Re: Good Morning Monday

Morning all.
A rough old day forecast for later.

I shall be doing more pottering about in my shed mostly, still gots things to prick out and repot. I find it quite therapeutic out there, with Radio 4 stories on.

Have fun all.

Re: Good Morning Monday

Good morning everyone a cold grey day nothing like spring. It is also drizzling with heavy rain forecast, that should
wash in the lawn fertiliser I applied yesterday so it is not all bad news weather wise.

Green soup from the freezer for lunch (leek/celery/pea a lovely combination) with hot bread rolls so no cooking and I can get on with some wall washing down.

Enjoy your day

Ha, like minds Meg, I too put weed and feed on our lawn yesterday with the promise of rain, so I just hope it arrives now!

Barry & Meg, with you both being dog owners, how do you get on with using fertilizers on the grass?

Would it be safe if they pulled any grass to chew?

We got up to rain and it's not stopped yet. At least the garden's getting a good soaking.

Hi

We were supposed to have heavy rain and gale force winds today.

I am still waiting for it, radar shows it going north of us, just drizzle here.

Hi Mups I hate putting anything on the lawn but sometimes you have to particularly when a neighbour does her half at the front of the house.
The silver birch in the garden behind mine casts shade over much of my back lawn now, it is mainly moss and hard to keep green so 'needs must' .

I am lucky in that there are steps up to the lawn from the patio so I can block it off from Chloe for a couple of weeks. She doesn't go up there much anyway these days and just potters on the patio in the sun.

I wouldn't be happy letter her walk on or eat anything that has fertiliser on it.
