yesterday's walk

The weather was pleasant yesterday afternoon. I'd forgotten to take the compact camera so I took these using Mrs mart's phone. Mrs mart took the geese photo.

It's the Basingstoke Canal, within walking distance of where we live. I'm not sure what type of geese they are but they aren't the usual Canada Geese we normally see there.

They look like Egyptian geese Mart, we used to have some on our local pond but not seen any now for a year or two...

Yes Egyptian geese they are. They breed here & some migrate here too. I think most escaped from collections years ago.
