Bonafide asylum granted to bonafide asylum "seekers" for the period that asylum is needed but NO grant of British citizenship involved. Maybe some form of Gastarbeiter status but no option to remain and no question of Jus soli for any kids born here.

Voluntary repatriation to where they belong.

Death. Not killed, just snuff it and limited health care - not full NHS access.

Blame human rights laws and the human rights lawyers who defend them.

Ever since Labour Tony Blair introduce his 'open door' policy, all governments since then have refused to deal with illegal immigration and substituted it under the guise of 'people seeking asylum' because of one thing and one thing only....MONEY.

You look at the areas of the world where these illegals are coming from and you will notice the country receives large financial foreign aid packages from the UK government. Why does the government gives these countries aid? because the aid is used as a backdoor for UK businesses to get into the country.

This method got the UK caught out many years ago with India when India was looking to replace it's ageing air force planes. The UK government so sure of itself that the UK was the ones going to win the contract because of the huge amount of foreign aid the UK gives to India. and you know what happened? India gave the contract to France and yes, the UK STILL gives India large amounts of foreign aid.

The government will do the same with the illegal immigrants, let them in and when a multimillion contract comes up, the UK will say 'hey, that contract is ours because we've let in 100's of your countrymen and women.' The government will deny it of course and I bet you any documents discussing such a scenario have been classified as top secret and thus not available under the freedom of information act to prevent people from looking at them.

Use the UK unemployed. If they can physically do the job OR no "benefits" for them or their depends. None at all.

So I think it's one thing Blair can't be blamed for.
