Crackling roses

I loved this song back in the 70s still do

But I have only just found out the meaning behind it.

A bit sad.

What does it mean, Galty?

Neil Diamond is a very talented man - and still writing music although no longer performing due to Parkinson's Disease. He is/was also a good actor - I remember him in 'The Jazz Singer' - an excellent film.

Well ST it reminds about every weekend of my youth.

Link to the man explain how he wrote this song.

Re: Crackling roses

Love all of Diamonds music started following him and buying his music in the late 60's when I left school.
So much great music he wrote.
You could say he may have had a early hang up on Rosie wine.

Sunday afternoon cannot think of a better way of spending it than listening to Neil Diamonds music.
