Tis true. I used to sell some for that reason, and some people swore by it.

Re: Wot No Milk?

The only bread in Sainsbury's these past two days has been their own make ..... there have been no deliveries of Hovis, Kingsmill, Warburtons etc.

I buy Alpro Soya Light milk, plenty of that on the shelves but hardly anything in the dairy milk.

Do let me know.

Mups, what a great shot! How cute of you and your friend!

I'm quite a fan of goats. Had three next to me in Texas. Never knew where you find them standing...on top of a car, roof, picnic table....

Re: Wot No Milk?

We found milk in our local Co-op, local Tesco didn't have any, neither shop had bread, so we bought crackers & crispbreads.

Re: Wot No Milk?

No bread deliveries to Asda but it doesn't worry me, shall just make my own. I don't use milk in my hot drinks and use very little on my porridge, making it mostly with water.

I'm sure we will all get through without too many sacrifices 😂

Haha, thanks Surfermom and Rhian.
That was about 25 years ago now though.

Very true - mine arrived safely enough

Re: Wot No Milk?

Plenty of milk here as this is cow country and the snow hasn’t effected us at all

Bread as well, all the big names. The only shop that was short was Lidl as their bread comes from Eire

Our shortages are fresh veg/fruit/processed products as the deliveries arent getting up to Cairnryan. A lot of drivers haven’t made it home this weekend

Re: Wot No Milk?

Weird isn't it?
Last Sunday Tesco had no chicken in the store of any kind.
Was there some scare I didn't hear about?
