I have such mixed feelings about Hawking's death. We have lost one of the most brilliant minds in cosmology and at the same time, he had physically and emotionally endured enought - more than I'm sure most of can fully appreciate.

I hope that his family and friends find peace, and that his students and collegues carry on his academic and scientific legacy with all their might.

I was very sorry to hear this. He is someone who proved what can be achieved in life even with adversity. This man was a genius with a strong and determined mind. RIP
