Re: I Am Doomed, Aren’t I?

Robins are regular visitors to my home I welcome them.
Living in a barn I guess birds and Bats especially Swallows regard it as an idea nest site .
Omg Swallows are a right pickle to remove .

Like the hundred or more birds of mine in their aviaries being bombarded by a damned sparrow hawk...indoors today until it decides to move on.

Friends had Swallows nesting in their garage which was connected to the house by a covered passageway like a long conservatory. If they forgot & shut the garage door the Swallows would zip up the passage & enter the garage that way. We got used to ducking that Summer.

Foxy, l didn’t see the robin go out, so maybe it might still be here in 46 years!

I am not even sure how long it was in the house for before l let it out!

Have you got a cat? Just wondered if a cat might have brought it in and the poor thing was trying to escape.

Re: I Am Doomed, Aren’t I?

I often get birds in my house in the summer when the windows are open , they can 'see' right through the large sitting room windows .

I feel lucky to have them rather than doomed
