Interesting that people still talk and obsess about him now after so long, when five victims is relatively few compared to more recent serial killers. Perhaps it's because at the time any multiple murders were unusual.

Or the fact that the murders were especially grotesque - and no-one has ever proved who 'Jack the Ripper' was.

Patricia Cornwell (who writes great fiction) believed it to be a certain person in her book, case closed, but was largely ridiculed.

I have watched many programs and read many theories.
In those days they couldn't tell the difference between animal and human blood.
