Weather Forecasts Are Supposed to be Much Better These Days
but I couldn't believe one I saw earlier for the North West, claiming that today would be sunny and dry with temperaturesrising to 10 C.
It's over-carrrst, raining, fezzing freezin' with an icy breeze.
And that's a forecast for the same day.

It depends if you are a polar bear or a Gila monster. One likes the cold, the other likes the heat.

Last night, l scraped off biggish chunks of ice from my small deep freezer.Instead, of putting them into the sink to melt and go down the plug hole, I threw them onto the lawn.
I couldn’t believe, when l went out to see to my hens this morning, they were still as l chucked them out, chunks of ice! They were still the same after midday.
That’s how cold it is here!
